Cambodia Visa 2018

12 months    = $285 - 300
6 months      = $155 - 160
3 months      = $75 - 288
1 month       = $45 - 55
Tourist  (T)   = $30 - 50 depending on how you obtain it
Business visa (E) = also known as Ordinary visa, is extendable multiple times.
ER (Extension Retirement) = for retired people, you are not allowed to work once having this visa.
NGO (B-Visa)
EB (Extension for Business) = for people who already found work, this ranges from 3,6, 12 months
EG (Extension Regular) = for people looking for work ranges from 3,6 months

How long to process? as quick as 3 business days as long as 10 business days, some agents would do it in 24 hours for double the price.

Basic Requirements (EB - Extension Business Visa / Ordinary Visa)?
Passport must be valid 6 months beyond the expiration date
Visas 3 months and up now requires an employment letter
12 months visa needs a work permit and an employment letter

Update from May 2018
EB extensions for 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months REQUIRE BOTH an employment letter and a work permit
And ONLY an employment letter for EB extensions for 12 months

EG is 3 months and 6 months and supposedly a one time deal, where as you can only have this kind of extension once, apparently up until June 2018 there have been claims in many social media forums saying they were able to get an EG extension simply by exiting cambodia then re-entering , it's not clear if they re-enter back as a Tourist or straight to an ordinary 30day E (business) visa then later on requesting for an EG.

Retirement VISA Requirements?
It's been proven that the minimum age is 55 years old, if you look young then the more tedious and detailed the immigration get, the older you look the less questions they ask.
Proof of financial capability might be needed depending on the assessing officer :)
Ideal requirements are proof of pension and bank statements (ideal may be different from actual)
Retirement documents, not sure what it is as far as I remember only the military would give you official papers to indicate you are retired, other cases I don't think anyone ever bothers getting a certificate for retiring this is why you need to be nice to the officer.

NGO Visa requirements (B-Visa) ?
Be on a legit / properly registered NGO
The NGO normally has a contact person for visa concerns and they help you take care of things, otherwise they won't really last as an NGO if they can't process documents for their staff :)
According to most travel agencies the requirements would be similar to the EB visa

Immigration Office vs Agents:
1. It will be much faster if you have a Khmer friend that would talk for you at the Immigration Office
2. Going alone as a foreigner who can't speak Khmer fluently would bring a ton of headache and rip  a hole in your pocket.
3. The immigration office will push you to go for an agency instead, this is the deal, this is the rule this is the unwritten protocol.
4. Be nice to the immigration officer assisting you, language barrier may cause you to think they are rude or incompetent but actually understand what you are saying and can not express himself properly.
5. Be ready for a boatload of additional requirements on top of the usual.
         a. Living verification
         b. A letter from your landlord
         c. Your company's patent, license and business permit (these are 3 separate documents)
         d. All the documents will not be valid unless it's in Khmer (it's the law)
         e. Seal / Chop / Stamp whatever you want to call it, it's not official unless they see it.
         f. Photos, passport size, the regular size and a smaller version, atleast 6 pieces each set
         g. BLUE PEN, like it or not they don't like red and black pens, use a BLUE pen ALWAYS.
         h. your passport must have more than 3 pages left
         i. for big amounts ALWAYS ask for a receipt (excluding tips)
         j. Marriage certificates and birth certificates
6. Going for an agent, just bring the basics
7. Not all agents are the same, some agents do not process retirement visas and ngo visa, most of them do the regular EB (Business visa)
8. Going directly to immigration with all the papers is possible along with a lot of patience.
9. Everything is more expensive if you are white yet somehow most of the time you get treated with higher respect making the process expensive simpler compared if you have brown skin or black.
10. There are shady agents, walking around the  national museum and royal palace you would see a lot this means research, google maps, look at the reviews, and make sure they have a decent office.

These information is far from perfect, there may be some mistakes or even mis-information. I would love to know what you think.
